Dispersible polymer powder comes from spray drying liquid polymer.

Once it comes into contact with water, the dispersible polymer powder grains disintegrate and release the individual dispersion particles again.

In the hardened cement, the dispersion particles form a bridging polymer film and so act as an additional binder.

It also works to improve tensile strength and bending strength as well as adhesive strengths on surfaces such as PVC, wood, metal, etc.
